Overview In this role you will manage fast-paced commercial and retail fit-out projects in Central London for a prestigious contractor, guiding time, cost and quality from inception to completion. You will coordinate with clients, architects and designers, procure sub-contractors, and supervise site teams to ensure on-program delivery. The position offers exposure to high-end residential and retail schemes and a track record of repeat business in a live environment. Responsibilities - Manage time, cost and quality across projects in commercial/retail environments
- Plan and coordinate all construction activities from inception to completion
- Collaborate with client stakeholders, architects and designers
- Procure sub-contractors and packages of work
- Oversee site management and labour teams to ensure regulatory and programme adherence
Key requirements - Degree qualification or equivalent Construction / Project qualifications
- Experience with a reputable Main Contractor
- Proven track record on fast-paced commercial and retail fit-out projects up to £1m in live environments
- In-depth understanding of construction procedures and project management principles
- Excellent organisational and time-management skills
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Good problem solving skills in challenging situations
- Working knowledge of MS Project, Asta or similar project management software
- Team player with leadership abilities
- Willingness to work in Central London and occasional Hertfordshire offices
